About

While starting as a quiet, tucked away gothic style cafe in the Empyreum, the Waking Lion had a steady flow of revenue. Thanks to the devoted customers and staff, the Waking Lion was able to relocate to a larger establishment, expanding their menu and opening a Bistro along side the Cafe. While they have expanded, they are still true to what made them separate from other places. With the expansion, we have a full area for upstairs seating, much more roomier than prior with a lounge on the middle floor. And of course, like before, there is something hidden away below. As another addition, we will be striving to have a least one event a month, focusing on a community or holiday based event.

Staff

The Waking Lion is always look for more people to join us. This could be wait staff, shout runner or musical performers. Feel free to inform the current staff if you wish to learn how to become a part of the staff.

Owners:
Raine 'Vein' Vitae & Luka Darcia

Both hailing from the East, Vein from Thavnair and Luka from Othard, they both share a checkered past. Since coming to Eorzea, while enjoying other venues, both had more of a taste for the macabre, dark and gritty. They decided to open an establishment which revels in the dark, a quiet place for others to gather with Vein as the cook and Luka as the Barista.

Hostess:
C'elina Taskin

A long time friend of both the owners, C'elina part time as both a waitress and sets out flyers for openings, also working at the Company Owned establishment Shinkou Rentsuki Lounge.Waitressing is only part of what she does. After years of adventure and many battles she is still chasing her goals while having as much adventure as possible and helping her friends along the way.

Host & Bard:
Tohzu'ra Favrha

A moon keeper whom is dexterous with his hands as he is suave with his speech. With recipes learned from the head chef, Vein, he would show he has skill in the kitchen as much as he has with a deck of cards and an instrument. For a cat so dark he can be quite light hearted.
